This presentation explores the transformative power of inclusive and accessible design. By building a diverse design team with a variety of skills, Weave has been successfully transformed into a product that meets ADA compliance needs, but has also changed the lives of marginalized users.

Attendees will learn about strategies and methodologies used to ensure product accessibility and inclusivity, through the lens of a quadriplegic man. Building a team of diverse designers has allowed for a product that supports the varied ways different users think and what they need. Designing for the minority of the population not only meets regulatory standards but also translates into a more enjoyable and functional product for the majority. This discussion will highlight the broader implications of inclusive design and its real-world benefits for all users.
